AnnMarie will tell you that the root of happiness begins with family, friends and food!

As a first generation American, AnnMarie embraced the recipes & traditions her parents taught her as a little girl. These traditions are still shared with those who walk through the doors of Tuscany on the Meadows. Her mother’s recipes are the basis of the menu selections offered, which gives it a unique and Mediterranean essence.

AnnMarie’s parents are immigrants from Sicily. Rosario, her father, sailed to America when he was 19 years old with just five dollars in his pocket. On the trip he noticed a little boy that had no shoes. On the arrival to Ellis Island, the first thing he did was spend his $5.00 on shoes for the little boy. Even at a very young age, Rosario understood the importance of giving. He believed that it was important that people have their hands out to give, not to receive. Maria, AnnMarie’s mother, share the same values and morals. This belief they instilled in their children, made it a natural instinct for Tuscany on the Meadows provides generous support to the community.
